School Meals Staff undertake Food Hygiene Training.
TWO busy In-service days and 60 Dinner Ladies saw the start of a rolling programme of Food Hygiene training, the first of a series of sessions designed to train all staff involved in the provision of School Meals in the Scottish Borders.
With candidates coming from all parts of the Borders the course was held in Tweed Horizons at St Boswells, for many of the staff the sessions offered the opportunity to refresh previous training and knowledge while for other new members of staff they were able to acquire the training required for all Food Handlers.
With further sessions planned for future In-service days the rolling programme is well on the way.
