Award in Insurance
This award is suitable for someone new to the insurance industry and an ideal starting point to gain industry related recognition of competence.
A "Record of Achievement" and 6 credits towards future studies is awarded by CII to those who pass the multiple-choice test.

Certificate in Insurance
This qualification provides a grounding in insurance covering a broad range of topics. In order to gain the full award, candidates must complete units totalling 40 credits.
Candidates must include IF1 Insurance Legal and Regulatory or PO1 Insurance Practice and Regulations. The remaining credits are gained from other units. The certificate units cover (valued at 15 credits each):-
