assessor and verifier awards
Assessor and Verifier Awards (A and V Awards) are aimed at businesses that wish to develop certified 'in-house' training and take ownership of delivery and assessment of training to their employees.
These awards are the benchmark for key staff to be able to demonstrate their competence in assessing, judging and supporting training within the workplace.
There are a number of different levels of training as follows:
- Certificate Level
A1 - Assess Candidates using a Range of Methods
A2 - Assess Candidates Performance through Observation
V1 - Conduct Internal Quality Assurance of the Assessment
- SVQ Level
Learning and Development Level 3
These courses can be delivered either 'in-house' (where Companies have sufficient numbers of staff requiring this training) or, alternatively, as a 'rolling programme' which staff attend at an appropriate time and location with personnel from other Companies.
Delegates work towards producing a portfolio of evidence against which they will be assessed. Observed assessment with the BC Consultants Team - who have a wide range of vocational competencies - can also be arranged within the workplace.
