Assessing Skills Accreditation units has been beneficial both for me, as assessor, and the candidate. It has helped to build the relationship between us and as a result communication has improved. Well organised visit, with site visit arranged and candidate, assessor and IV all available. Great care is taken with the selection of Hotels, dish range and chefs interviewed to choose good chef assessors. Good communication throughout from candidate to chef, to peripatetic assessor, hotel owners right to internal verifier - good support line in place.
