Elementary Food Hygiene: I think it is a very useful qualification to have at my fingertips. To have understood and passed this, it's re-inforced what I already knew and made me more aware of what I do. I was really nervous about the exam but Anne made me feel at ease and a lot more confident in my abilities. It is my intention to support a local lunch club and any other food related activities in the village. I am much more aware of other people's behaviour in relation to food hygiene and confident enough to comment on this. I really enjoyed taking up this new challenge as part of a group.

Scottish Qualifications Authority

Well organised visit, with site visit arranged and candidate, assessor and IV all available. Great care is taken with the selection of Hotels, dish range and chefs interviewed to choose good chef assessors. Good communication throughout from candidate to chef, to peripatetic assessor, hotel owners right to internal verifier - good support line in place.
